Right and Proper

Finally, metal.
So many tracks on Newgrounds are too FRUITYLOOPS.
This is proper.
Keep it.

GoreBastard responds:

Cheers man. Yeah, I'm all real!

It's all melody.

I like this.
It's a shame you couldn't have used more real sounding samples.
With that said it's still fairly pleasent and I've liked it enough to DL it and add it to my playlists.

Vultyrex responds:

Sometimes I wonder to myself why I don't get better soundfonts.

Star Wars: R2D2 Screaming

It's a very clean track with enough quips to keep it interesting.
I'll be playing puzzle games on my PS3 to this latter.
Thanks foo.

Wanger Banger.
Bang wang you broken hand green-thumb finger fucked tits or something.

Good job.

JonH2O responds:

Close.

Slick

Very light hearted and relaxed. A clear beat that works well with the space age sirens beaming off of it. Very groovy synth sounds.

It stays at the right amount of trippy and mellow the whole way through.

Melophobik responds:

Well thanks a lot, good sir. I'm glad you like this one too!
I'd almost forgotten about this track until I saw you had favorited it. I think making another track like this wouldn't be a bad idea...

Progressive

The length is acceptable. It went through stages, none of which I would say is out of place, none of which I would say takes away from the song.

I found 4:04 - 4:41 dragged on. And then again at 4:51 5:11.
It's just way to obvious what the song was doing and what it was about to do at this point. Repetition is fine in a techno song, it's just, as far as I know, not done with down stepping, or severe repetitive cross fading.

These instances and the over all obvious nature of several points in the song hurt the score.

With that said I still favorite and downloaded this track to listen to on my PSP, USB stick, and P.C.
So even though this might not be the magnum opus, or the most brilliant piece of techno/electronic music, it has a punch, a very melodic- even melodramatic quality.

I look forward to hearing your magnum opus.

Melophobik responds:

What an intelligent review. Thanks, man.

I know what you mean by the repetitious parts it's got in it, I have trouble with cross fading in a lot of my stuff :/ Still workin' on that...
But it's nice to know that you've DL'ed it and will listen to it later. That's quite a musical complement :) lol

I too, look forward to hearing my "magnum opus". But, I've got a long way to go until then. But when I do, I hope you'll get to hear it.

A Dad + Playstation?

O.K. what version of playstation and what was the software he used?

It's a very cut and dry song that brings back thoughts of Mission Impossible, Perfect Dark, Goldeney64, Die Hard, other cheesy action movies.. etc.

Cool beans but nothing I'd listen to everyday for the next week.

The title of my review is cheese. I hope you like it. I hope it's a delicious cheese.
After I listened to [Crank] I listened to your two other submissions. [Aquatic] and this [Hands Up] and it has made you on my favorite artists list.

Now don't let it go to your head.
You make rudimentary music. With that said you administer correct proportions to the bliss and taint, like a garnishing sprinkle on a well developed pizza. I say this not just because I am hungry, but because you sir, can cook with sound. Not everyone can do this. With that said those who cannot are illiterate, which makes them unable to properly examine and understand any recipe of the like. They make tripe soup with whatever they have in the fridge, without proper preparations. They add mushrooms like bass- without pan frying them in rhythm, they add chicken with the skin on it like a misrepresented high note, they don't simmer the sauce- their progression is lack luster at best... etc. These are all important qualities.

In this case I can taste that you have properly grilled the peppers will a light oil and added some spice for kick.

LOL EXTENDED METAPHOR
(in a very derivative fashion)

KrawniK responds:

Wow, thank you so much.

This means alot.

Beautiful review :D

A jazzy interlude if I've heard one.

The transitions provoke a great deal of imagination. Each time the track cycles I'm met with different images and ideas as to how this track could be incorporated with other media.

There is such a heavy transition between light and dark, but, it is dealt with in a very relaxed fassion within the track, so much so that to hear the movements and then catch the loop in such an eased way... it's very nice. Great jazz flute.

vibe-newgrounds responds:

Nice review, thanks!

I own this game and really liked the music from it

And I bet you would have never guessed I enjoyed this version more?
Well that's just how things worked out.

Please continue. Thanks.

FunkmasterCatking responds:

Uh... alright, thanks!
